Frank Poole was a second generation owner of Buckeye Marine along with his wife Joyce. In fact Frank helped to push Buckeye into the boating business with his mechanical background and keen insight. Frank was an avid fisherman and loved the time he spent on the water with his family. He was often found escaping to the lake with grandchildren or his friends in tow to find that special fishing hole or to enjoy an cook out at the island. The first year this event took place Frank and Joyce brought their friends along for the great trip to Chemong Lodge...Frank often commented on what a great event the Brunch Cruise was. Unfortunately Frank passed July 2nd, 2009 only a week before the second cruise was to take place. From that day forward it was only natural to have Frank always remembered through this wonderful Cruise Club event.
